Two numbers shape most scaffolding rentals: how much you need and how long you need it. Getting them roughly right keeps costs in check and avoids delays.
Estimating quantity
Quantity depends on the area you need to access. Multiply the approximate height you need to reach by the length of wall to be covered on each face. Share these figures with the supplier, who can translate them into the components required.
Estimating duration
List each task that needs access at height, estimate days for each, and add a buffer for weather and labour availability. Painting a G+2 house frontage and plastering a full apartment block are very different timelines.
Phased rentals
If you are working one face at a time, it may be possible to move scaffolding as work progresses. Discuss this with your supplier.
When plans change
Projects slip. Ask upfront how extensions work, so you can plan if the job takes longer than expected.
